A Sakubva woman is having sleepless nights as she is on the verge of losing her home owing to a hospital bill she incurred when she fell sick earlier this year.
The 48 year old woman Media Nyakunu’s problems all began when she was diagnosed sick and needed treatment for fibroids whereupon she was referred to Parirenyatwa Hospital where she was admitted and treated in May.
What followed was a bill that has overtime ballooned to over $5 900.
Her situation is made worse as her husband cannot assist due to his condition after he suffered a stroke.
Mrs Nyakunu survives on selling freezits and the money she gets cannot pay off the debt.
“I am asking for help to pay my debt at Parirenyatwa Hospital. My husband had a stroke and we have no children to help us. If we do not pay our house will be taken. All those who want to help me can send money on my Ecocash number 0776467665 under the name Joseph Sithole,” said Mrs Nyakunu.
Her dilemma is she has been given 48 hours to pay off the hospital debt failure to which she may lose her homestead.
Those who wish to help can reach her on 0776467665 or at house number 80 Mazhambe, Sakubva, Mutare.
