Newly-appointed Zimbabwe national soccer team captain Knowledge Musona says winning at home is crucial as the Warriors brace for an encounter against Liberia at the National Sports Stadium this Sunday.

Victory is top of the agenda for newly-appointed Warriors captain who says winning at home is crucial as the team begin their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign against Liberia this weekend.

After being handed the responsibility of leading the team by Warriors coach Norman Mapeza, Musona says he is prepared for the responsibility that comes with being the leader of this most followed national team.

Musona takes over from Willard Katsande who captained the Warriors at the 2017 Nations Cup held in Gabon early this year.

Khama Billiat, who was expected to join the team so he can be assessed by the Warriors medical team, was yet to report for camp when the morning training session was held at the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries complex in Waterfalls.
