knowledge musona in action.jpgWarriors and Kaizer Chiefs striker, Knowledge Musona’s exploits for his team in South Africa over the weekend have once again earned him a place in Africa’s team of the week.

The poll conducted by Africa also chose Zambian forward, Given Singuluma, who plays for TP Mazembe and his teammate, Ngandu Kasongo, 4 players from the Moroccan League, 2 from the Ghanaian League as well as 2 from the South African premiership.

In praising Musona, Africa said, “The talented young Zimbabwean striker is no stranger to this list, having been one of the stars of the PSL over the last few months.

“Kaizer Chiefs have their hands on a jewel, and he proved it once again this weekend, chipping in with a goal in Amakhosi’s 2-0 defeat of SuperSport United, despite finding themselves down to ten men. The striker has been smashing them in lately, finding the crucial winning goal on numerous occasions. He is certainly one to watch in future.”

Musona, who was nurtured by Aces Youth Academy under the tutelage of Mark Duvillard, has matured this season and scored his first Warriors goal against Liberia in Monrovia in September.
