Musical artists have added their voice in the fight against cholera by donating sanitisers to church members in the capital, Harare.
Bibles and hymn books were temporarily shelved when gospel musicians Bruce Machingura and Retired Colonel Andrew Marauka distributed 2 000 sanitisers to AFM congregates courtesy of Save A Life Movement.
Major Marauka said it is part of everyone’s duty to make sure cholera is eradicated completely.
“We feel saddened when we see people die of cholera, that’s why we have come together to try and help in our best way possible to alleviate the cholera epidemic,” he said.
Machingura then took it to the dance floor churning out his hit song ‘Cholera’.
The cholera outbreak has seen those in the arts sector participating in the fight against the outbreak.
