Gospel artist Tafadzwa Mukaro has released her third album entitled ‘Vanotichengeta’, which also features popular gospel artists Bethany Pasinawako and Kudzi Nyakudya.
The eight-track album launched in Harare this Friday evening carries songs such as ‘Makata’, ‘Tibatei’, ‘Ndashanda’, ‘The Holy Spirit’ and ‘Faithful God’, among others.
Mukaro said the message in the songs directs people to seek salvation from God, especially during difficult times, hence the title ‘Vanotichengeta’.
Guest artist at the album launch, Baba Mechanic Manyeruke, bemoaned lack of protection from government on piracy saying a law should be crafted to protect musicians against such a vice.
Pastor Charles Charamba, who was guest of honour at the event, said Mukaro’s music should yield positive results not only to Christians but to the nation as a whole.
Other artists who graced the occasion include Joseph Tivafire, Echoes of Praise and Bethany Pasinawako, among others.
