Zimbabwean striker and Golden Arrows forward Knox Mtizwa is yearning to don the senior Warriors colours and assist the senior national team book a berth at the 2019 Afcon finals.
The Golden Arrows leading goal scorer said he believes his current form will help Zimbabwe qualify for the 2019 Afcon finals and urged the Warriors to fully utilise FIFA breaks to play friendly matches with football power houses.
Mtizwa who last had a dance in Warriors colours at the COSAFA showdown last year is currently Arrows’s leading goal scorer with five goals.
The Warriors are due to face neighbours South Africa if the fixture is approved in an international break which is likely to be used by South African coach Stuart Baxter to fine tune his charges in preparation for the 2019 Afcon campaign.
The former Highlanders striker has set himself a target of reaching 15 goals this season.
