Midlands State University (MSU) won the Enactus Zimbabwe national competition and is set to represent the country in the World Cup competition to be held from the 9th to the 10th of October in Silicon Valley, California.
The local competition was graced by 10 universities.
In an interview with the ZBC News during the presentation of awards at Celebration Center in Harare, leader of Enactus Zimbabwe, Mrs Busi Marandure said he was impressed by the performance of students from different universities who participated in the competition.
“We believe this is a chance for the students from MSU to represent us in the World Cup competition in California Silicone Valley,” she added.
Faculty advisor, Mercy Viriri and team leader of the winning team, Sipho Sibanda expressed happiness for winning the competition.
NUST came second followed by Chinhoyi University of Technology in the competition.
