Government says the Midlands State University (MSU) has become an important centre of cultural diversity and lauded the institution of higher learning for internationalising teaching and research.

A local university that has grown over the years, MSU, now has students even from the region.

At its cultural diversity carnival students from South Sudan also showcased their culture.

MSU campus director in Zvishavane, Professor Advice Vhiriri said this is confirmation that the institution thrives to spread its wings across Africa by embracing diversity.

Guest of honour at the event, Reverend Paul Bayethe Damasane who is Permanent Secretary in the office of the Vice President Kembo Mohadi said cultural diversity is the unifier of all African people.

The theme of the carnival was; “Our Culture, Our Diversity, Our Unity.”
