motor action protest.jpgThe sun took an early setting for one of Zimbabwe African safari representative, Motor Action who lost 2-0 to Black Leopards in the reverse leg of the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round played at Rufaro Stadium this Sunday afternoon.

The Mighty Bulls showed their newly assembled outfit is not yet ready for the African safari.

After a 1-1 away draw, Motor Action returned to home turf to blow away any chance of making it into the next round.

An uninspiring performance, laced with some elementary mistakes ensured an early exit from the African safari for the ambitious Harare side.

The horror story at Rufaro began in the 44th minute when Thabo Mongalo watched his hospital-like kick glide in past the Zimbabweans to give the visitors the lead.

Four minutes after the break, Mongalo was back to wrap up the match with a header after he caught the Bulls defence in a nap.

For Joey Antipas, who made 4 changes in Sunday’s starting 11, the re-building process backfired.

Meanwhile in Hwange, Chipangano continued with weekend routing mood thumping Jamhuri FC 4-1 to win 7-1 on aggregate and a place in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
