Children from Mother Touch Group of Schools are leaving for the UK for a musical and cultural festival, Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, where they will participate in cultural exchange programme which has become an annual event.
The children will compete in traditional dances representing African countries and 72 nations are set to perform at musical festival in Wales.
Children expect to meet different people and to represent the country as well as to lift Zimbabwe’s flag high by bringing a trophy back home.
The supportive children’s parents expressed delight in sending their children abroad so that they learn more from the exposure and they hope for the best for them.
Mother Touch CEO, Salome Mutsinze said the experience will take a step further to build confidence in every child who is going to participate, develop and nurture them outside school for success.
There is hope that the annual music festival to produce well-rounded and grounded learner who will be equipped for anything, anywhere in the world.
