mliswa250.jpgBusinessman and farmer, Themba Mliswa who was facing charges of fraud, has been acquitted.

Regional magistrate, William Bhila, said the case does not constitute fraud as there is no misrepresentation.

Mr Bhila said the case was a clear matter of a malicious prosecution saying the complainant made it clear that the accused never made any misrepresentation.

Mliswa was alleged to have misrepresented to former white commercial farmer, Petros Jacobs van der Merwe in Karoi that he would sel his farm equipment on his behalf and get commission.

The state alleges that Mliswa did not give the complainant his money after selling the equipment.
