It is beauty that pays and it lived true for 23-year-old Miss Tourism Zimbabwe queen, Tafadzwa Jaricha who was handed her Mercedes Benz c class and prize money at a ceremony held in Harare yesterday.

The practicing lawyer and Manicaland bred Tafadzwa, who beat more than 20 other contestants to be crowned Miss Tourism Zimbabwe earlier this year, finally received her price on Tuesday.

A Mercedes Benz c class and $10 000 cash prize was what Tafadzwa got.

She pledged to take the honour bestowed on her to change and impact on other youths in her community.

The Miss Tourism queen will only represent the country at Miss Tourism World next year as Miss Tourism Zimbabwe Trust this year intends to capacitate her so that she meets regional and international expectations, Miss Tourism Zimbabwe license holder, Sarah Mpofu Sibanda confirmed.

Miss Personality, Chido Nyika from Harare, first princess Natalie Mangodo from Mashonaland East Province and 2nd princess Life Matunzeni from Manicaland also walked away with $6000 each.
