mighty-warriors_07-07-11.jpgMighty Warriors winger, Sheila Makoto will this Saturday come under scrutiny as she makes her first ever start for the national team following the unavailability of injured Nokuthula Ndlovu.

There will be only one change in the Mighty Warriors squad that walloped South Africa 3-nil in a Unity Cup match last December as Sheila Makoto steps up to replace injured Nokuthula Ndlovu.

Makoto will be making her first ever start in the right wing, hoping to give a good account of herself.

Save for that change, Captain and goalkeeper, Onai Chingawo is expected to inspire her team which also features defenders, Talent Mandaza, Ruvimbo Mutyavaviri, Patience Mujuru, and Danai Bhobho.

The midfield comprises diminutive midfielder, Merjury Nyaumwe, Tsitsi Mairosi, Emmaculate Msipa and Makoto, while Rudo Neshamba and Erina Jeke are expected to hunt the goals for Zimbabwe.

The Mighty Warriors bench has Nobuhle Majika, Precious Masitara, Eunice Chibanda, Violet Bhepete, Rutendo Makore, Kudakwashe Bhasopo and Chido Dzingirai.

The Zimbabwean team had a feel of the match venue, with Coach Rosemary Mugadza sharing optimism that her squad will emerge victors this Saturday.
