Mighty Warriors head coach Sithethelelwe “Kwinji 15”Sibanda says is confident her charges will grind a result in their Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifiers encounter against Namibia set for next Thursday in Windhoek.

Sibanda’s troops began preparations last week.

The Mighty Warriors who were last in action during the September COSAFA Cup are hoping for a positive outcome despite what looks like limited preparations.

“The girls are rating to go. They have responded well to the training and our focus is now on the Namibian tie,” said Sibanda.

Coming from the off season Sibanda heads for Windhoek hoping the team has jelled.

The Mighty Warriors squad is expected to be trimmed this Friday ahead of its departure for Windhoek.

The return leg is been set for two days later and Sibanda said the same squad will do duty in the reverse leg except for injury induced replacements.
