The Unity Cup clash scheduled for the National Sports Stadium on December 22, Zimbabwe’s Unity Day, will give the Mighty Warriors a chance to avenge last month’s 4-nil drubbing by the same Banyana Banyana team.

To ensure that Zimbabwe fields a strong side, the Mighty Warriors have began preparations of that fixture with a one week scouting training currently running at the Reserve Bank Sports Club in Harare.

30 players are in camp, 20 of which are uncapped.

The ladies team will play Dynamos under 17 on Thursday to shape up the scouting process.

The match, to be played under the theme ‘Unity through women football and winning through women football’ will be part of Zimbabwe’s commemorations of the historic unity accord signed between ZANU PF and PF ZAPU on December 22, 1987.
