A 34-member Mighty Warriors contingent including 20 players has left by road for Lusaka.

Carrying a 1-0 lead into the second leg, Captain Nomsa ‘Boys’ Moyo expressed optimism that her squad will triumph and progress to face Angola in the next assignment.

Zimbabwe Women Football Chairperson, Mavis Gumbo, challenged the squad to win so as to give a befitting birthday present to the Chief Patron, Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe.

Injured defender, Patience Mujuru, will be the only absentee from the squad that did duty during the first leg and she has been replaced by Samukelisiwe Zulu, while Nomatter Mharakurwa and Rufaro Machingura have been ropped in.
