The Zimbabwe women’s soccer team’s technical department will this Tuesday name the final 18 member squad that will travel to Botswana for a crunch African Women’s Championship first leg qualifier slated for this Saturday.
Despite injuries to key players; Nokhuthula Ndlovu and Samukeliso Zulu who have been ruled out of the first leg, Mighty Warriors head coach, Rosemary Mugadza was brimming with confidence on the sidelines of an early morning training session at Rufaro Stadium, saying her team will roll past Botswana.
In the event that Zimbabwe beat Botswana over two legs, the next hurdle will be the Falcons of Nigeria.
The Mighty Warriors are set to leave for Botswana on Thursday before clashing with their Southern African opponents this Saturday.
The second leg will be played a fortnight later at Rufaro Stadium in Harare.
