The Mighty Warriors continue to tie up loose ends ahead of their showdown with Banyana Banyana on Unity Day.
With memories on their 3 -0 humiliation in last year’s final still fresh in their minds, the Mighty Warriors are eager to redeem themselves.
Pagels though happy with the players’ ability however expressed concern over some aspects of their game which require urgent rectification.
“The physical condition of the players is good as well as their technical skills. The players nevertheless need to realise that the modern game is not about dribbling but creating 2 against 1 situations.
They need to play one touch football and play together in combination.â€said Pagels.
The Mighty Warriors-Banyana Banyana Unity Cup Challenge match will take place at Rufaro Stadium this Thursday.
The two teams last met at Rufaro Stadium in July in a match which the Mighty Warriors won 1-0 to win the COSAFA Cup. Meanwhile Banyana Banyana are expected in the country this Monday evening.
