The MDC-T which has failed to fulfill its obligation under the Global Political Agreement to call for the lifting of the illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by the British and their western allies has openly admitted that the inclusive government has not achieved much since its incept .A year has passed since the birth of the inclusive government and the three political parties are still wrangling over outstanding issues.
The MDC â€“T has not made things easier by bringing more issues to the original list of outstanding issues while on the other end failing to call for the lifting of illegal sanctions.
Addressing journalists at a press conference in Harare, MDC-T spokesperson Mr. Nelson Chamisa openly admitted that the inclusive government has not achieved much due to the stalemate in the negotiation process between the three parties.
Commenting on the Prime Ministerâ€™s call for fresh elections Mr. Chamisa said the inclusive government under the Global Political Agreement is just but a gestation period.
Meanwhile the MDC-T has dismissed 23 councillors from Chitungwiza Town council due to corruption and has said it is going to engage Dr Ignatius Chombo, Minister of Local Government Rural and Urban Development to find ways of filling the positions of the dismissed councilors.
Dr Chombo has however said the councillors were duly elected and can not be dismissed over party issues.
