The rift within the Movement for Democratic Change Alliance (MDC Alliance) continues to widen following Advocate Nelson Chamisa’s decision to unilaterally field candidates in the areas reserved for the alliance partners.

The squabbles within the MDC Alliance continue with most of the top alliance leaders snubbing the Binga rally in Matabeleland North Province today.

This follows Advocate Chamisa’s decision to field candidates in areas which were previously reserved for the alliance partners.

The MDC Alliance leader who was accompanied by the party’s Deputy Secretary General Paurina Mupariwa told the party supporters who gathered at Manjolo Business Centre that the forthcoming polls should be held on their terms.

The MDC Alliance leader who promised to establish a fisheries university for the villagers said apart from restructuring the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO), he has more strategies for the welfare of war veterans.

The MDC Alliance leader who is on a tour of Matabeleland North Province had another rally at Lusulu which attracted few supporters before heading to Manjolo.
