MBCA Bank Limited, one of Zimbabwe’s oldest banks which was incorporated on 31 July 1956 announced today that it has undergone a comprehensive rebranding and is with immediate effect known as Nedbank Zimbabwe Limited.
Speaking at a media briefing , managing director of Nedbank Zimbabwe, Dr Charity Jinya assured stakeholders that the rebranding is beyond just a name change but will improve customer service through access to innovative products, services and enhanced banking channels well known across the Southern Africa region.
“The brand transformation to Nedbank Zimbabwe will ensure that our bank continues on a growth path, thanks to the improved brand recognition it brings,”he said.
Central to this enhanced offering is the rollout of a new core banking and internet system known as flexcube which forms part of Nedbank’s strategic investment of US$66 million into its operations in the SADC region.
“It allows us to offer our clients simpler and more transparent pricing structures, including a range of value adding bundled banking offerings,” noted Dr Jinya.
The rebranding exercise is the result of meticulous planning, collaboration and hard work.
The transformation is paving way for Nedbank Zimbabwe to steadily grow its client offerings through on-going introduction of a comprehensive suite banking.
