Only four teams will remain standing by Sunday evening after the Mbada Diamond Cup quarter finals.

FC Platinum who have been a revelation in their PSL debut season are set to lock horns with Gunners at the Colliery in Hwange in a game that promises to produce fireworks.

The Zvishavane-based side however has a difficult assignment as they will attempt to beat Gunners for the first time having lost twice to Chando Kupisa in the league.

In another encounter slated for this Saturday, Kiglon, who recently moved from the basement of the Premier Soccer League log standing to third from bottom will be hoping to continue with their fine run in the Mbada Cup when they clash with fellow PSL relegation candidates Zimbabwe Saints at Chishamiso Stadium in Hippo Valley.

In Sunday’s Mbada action, Harare giants Dynamos will also be hoping to keep their hopes of a double alive when they clash with PSL lowly-placed outfit Shooting Stars in Zvishavane, while Motor Action ‘The Mighty Bulls’ square up with Blue Ribbon ‘Tambawakaguta’ in a tie penciled for Torwood Stadium in Redcliff.
