85 out of 210 legislators have so far accounted for the CDFs they received from treasury last year.

Since government embarked on an audit early this year, some legislators have alleged that they have not yet withdrawn the funds from their accounts while others have given different reasons.

Constitutional and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Advocate Eric Matinenga said the audit is an on-going exercise and added that parliamentarians will receive training on how to handle such funds and how to submit returns.

Sources say most legislators especially those in the urban areas are said to have failed to account for the funds.

Government has however indicated that those who failed to account will not get any money from Treasury.
