The extroverts love the glitz of expensive rings, the huge wedding cake, the make-up and the loud music that certainly announces their union but for the Vadzidzi VaJesu members all that is vanity and the celebrations of a wedding must be sacredly upheld inside one’s heart.

The exchange of rings, the kiss and the cutting of cake are gestures that the modern world qualifies as important in a perfect wedding.

A breathtaking décor, expensive make-up, a bountiful feast and the serenade of love songs must accompany the story of holy matrimony for it to earn its respect, but not so for the Vadzidzi VaJesu followers who believe in the tying of knots of the hearts and not on the vanity of material things.

The brides hold a white garment shielding the wedding couple.

It is a sign of purity and a solemn swear of how united and supportive they will be to the newly weds.

For the newly weds this is their perfect wedding with no music or exchange of vows.

One of the church leader Mudzidzi Zex Pamacheche revealed members of his church can only tie the knot at the church headquarters and not anywhere else in the world.

Interestingly not everyone can wed.

Forget the beliefs, forget the different religions or different weddings what is important is for a couple is to see the marriage working.
