Zanu PF Matabeleland South Province says preparations for the Presidential Youth Interface rally scheduled for next month are at an advanced stage amid calls for people to turn out in their thousands for the important event.

Thousands of youths as well as Zanu PF leaders from across the province convened at the Gwanda district club yesterday for a preparatory meeting for the forthcoming Presidential Youth Interface rally.

Minister of State for Matabeleland South Province, Cde Abednico Ncube and the Zanu PF provincial chairman, Cde Rabelani Choene said they are working around the clock to ensure that the event is a resounding success.

The deputy secretary for Youth Affairs, Cde Mpehalbayo Malinga appealed to the citizens of Matabeleland South to turn up in their numbers for the rally whose date will be announced soon.

The interface rally will afford youths in the province an opportunity to present their grievances to President Mugabe among them issues of land ownership, housing and access to key economic sectors.

The occasion was also graced the Zanu PF provincial youth chairman, Cde Dingumuzi Phuthi, National Youth Political Commissar, Cde Innocent Hamadzidhe and national youth executive members.
