cows2.jpgThe Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Planning and Investment Promotion, Mr Desire Sibanda has urged people of Matabeleland South province to specialize in their comparative advantage in cattle ranching and mining to develop the province.

Speaking at the launch of the 2011-2015 Mid-Term Plan in the province, Mr Sibanda said the government is committed to the development of special economic clusters in the country, to enable communities to benefit from their resources.

He urged business people in the province to take advantage of the comparative advantages of being the hub of cattle ranching as well as being home to the busiest port of entry in the southern region, the Beitbridge Border Post.

The launch of the Mid-Term Plan was also attended by Deputy President of the Senate, Cde Naison Khutshwekhaya Ndlovu, Members of Parliament and traditional leaders among others.
