Zanu PF Masvingo province says preparations for the Presidential Youth  Interface rally set for this Friday are well on course, with the various committees now putting final touches on their plans.

Having set a target to mobilise at least 50 000 youths for the Presidential Youth  Interface, Zanu PF Masvingo province says they are getting ready to host the President on Friday.

Youths from the province will get an opportunity to present their challenges to Cde Mugabe.

The party’s provincial youth chairperson Cde Nobert Ndaarombe said they have managed to source buses and lorries which will bring the youths from various points to Mucheke stadium.

“We have mobilised more than 31 buses, including some lorries to ferry youths to the venue. We are now waiting for the big day,” said Cde Ndaarombe.

Cde Ndaarombe called on youths in the province to ensure they are sober during the Presidential Youth Interface to avoid issues of indiscipline.

“Youths need to be sober when they meet the President. We need to show him that we are a serious lot. The President is coming at a time when we are expected to benefit from various projects, which include the construction of the Beitbridge-Harare road and the Tokwe Mukosi dam,” he added.

A visit to Mucheke stadium, the venue for the rally, revealed that work was being done to spruce up the grounds.

Various artists who include Soul Jah Love are expected to entertain the youths after the President’s address.
