Government has rolled out a massive mobile network connectivity programme in Buhera and has approved road network upgrading in the district as part of its focus to promote development in all parts of the country.

In addition to the mobile network connectivity programme, cabinet has also approved the rehabilitation and tarring of the Birchenough-Murambinda road as it links areas of economic importance said the Minister of State for Manicaland Province Senator Monica Mutsvangwa who urged people to remain loyal to Zanu PF that is spearheading life changing programmes in the district and the country as a whole.

Senator Mutsvangwa who praised Buhera South legislator Cde Joseph Chinotimba for spearheading developmental projects in his constituency said plans to start a fertiliser company in Buhera are on the table as well as exploration of diamonds that are believed to be in the district as part of projects that include road rehabilitation and improving mobile connectivity.

The Minister of Information Communication Technology and Cyber Security Cde Supa Mandiwanzira said his ministry will erect two mobile network base stations in Buhera before the end of March to improve mobile and data connectivity among a number of support programmes that include construction of two post offices and information centres in the district.

Cde Chinotimba expressed happiness on the developments stating that they reflect able leadership of Zanu PF party and will go a long way in promoting development.

Meanwhile, Mutiusinazita School received a donation of ten computers to add to the ten previously donated and the school is expected to have internet connectivity before the end of the month following an undertaking by government entities under the Ministry of ICT to improve on connectivity.
