chile_.jpgAt least two million people have been affected by the massive earthquake that struck central Chile over the weekend. 

 

Chilean President, Michele Bacheley said at least 700 people have been confirmed dead in the earthquake the eight comma eight quake.

 

The earthquake is one of the biggest ever that triggered a Tsunami that has been sweeping across the pacific, although waves were not as high as predicted.
 

Japan is still on high alert, with tens of thousands of people urged to evacuate areas at risk.

 

Ms Bacheley said she has declared a state of catastrophe in six regions.
