Karateka Wilfred Mashaya was the biggest winner at the Annual National Sports Awards (ANSA) after winning the Sportsperson of the Year and the Sportsman of the Year awards.
Mashaya who specialises in Kobudo walked away $17 000 richer after winning the two awards.
Journalist and karateka Grace Chirumhanzu won the Sportswoman of the Year award with the Sevens rugby team coach Gilbert Nyamutsamba winning the coach of the year award.
The junior Sportsperson of the Year went to Ryan Gwidzima of squash while the rowing team of Patrick and Rory Plunket won the team of the year award.
Isaac Gutu from Special Olympics golf walked away with the Sportsman of the Year with a disability while Margaret Bangajena got the Sportswoman of the Year with a disability award.
It was double delight for triathlon as Rick Fulton won the technical official of the year on a day in which Triathlon Zimbabwe walked away with the sport administration of the year award.
