Zimbabwe’s Mashonaland Central Province and Mozambique’s Tete Province have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) which will go a long way in widening areas of cooperation.

The delegation from Tete province has been in the country for independence celebrations and toured various projects in Mashonaland Central province with a view to get a deeper appreciation of areas they can tap into.

Mashonaland Central Provincial Affairs Minister, Advocate Martin Dinha said the MOU cements the existing relations between the two countries as a number of local companies are interested in opportunities arising in Tete Province.

Zimbabwe and Mozambique have cordial relations which date back to the liberation struggle and the MOU will open investment opportunities for both countries.
