Hamilton Masakadza was today named as the Chevrons captain in all 3 formats.
Masakadza is set to be deputised by Peter Moore while Dilip Chouhan was named the new Chevrons team manager, taking over from Chris Chiketa.
Dilip will be the manager of the Zimbabwe senior side, Zimbabwe A and the Zimbabwe Under 19 team.
Walter Chawaguta remains Zimbabwe cricket’s convener while former player Prosper Utseya was named among the substantive selectors.
Former convenor Kenyan Ziel is the other member of the substantive selectors panel.
Masakadza was named captain following Zimbabwe’s failed World Cup qualification last year.
After replacing Cremer, Masakadza guided Zimbabwe to a famous 1st test victory in 5 years when the Chevrons overcame Bangladesh by 151 runs at the end of last year.
The naming of Masakadza as captain sees the top order batsman maintaining his place following some encouraging performances by the Chevrons.
Since the Bangladesh tour Zimbabwe has been inactive but games against the United Arab Emirates are being lined up before the country tours Ireland.
