The Zanu PF Manicaland provincial youth league executive has warned local authorities who are derailing the government approved youths residential stands implementation.
The recently held Manicaland provincial inter-district conference saw Zanu PF Manicaland youth provincial chairperson Cde Mbuso Chinguno taking a swipe at local authorities that are sabotaging the youth village programme and warned them to desist from derailing the youth project.
Turning to the slow pace of farm regulation programme in Manicaland, Cde Chinguno accused some of the political big wigs of owning vast hectares of land at the expense of others.
“We have some senior politicians in the province who are receiving protection fees from white farmers. We shall name and shame the culprits if the practice persists.
He added that the youth league is 100 percent behind Zanu PF and its 2018 presidential candidate Cde Robert Mugabe.
In response to the land regularisation programme, Zanu- PF central committee member and Minister of State Cde Mandi Chimene said the programme in some instances had been derailed by youths themselves.
During the inter-district conference, a call was made for the political leadership in the province to unite and work together to ensure that the party wins resoundingly in 2018 harmonised elections.
