The Zanu PF Women’s League Manicaland branch says it has identified a farm where a cattle rearing project will be undertaken as part of its empowerment drive.
Empowerment has been an agenda resonating within the revolutionary party, Zanu PF.
At a time Zanu PF has targeted internal resource mobilisation as well as income generating projects for members, a farm has been identified with markets sourced for poultry projects.
Zanu PF National Secretary for Women’s Affairs, Cde Marble Chinomona underscored the need for the party’s leadership to also consider the will of the people as their vote in the 2018 elections is critical.
The Zanu PF Women’s League in Manicaland said they are also keen to claim three of the 23 constituencies lost in the last elections amid calls for greater representation of women in all the party’s structures.
