In a bid to step up efforts in luring investors to Manicaland Province, an investment conference is being organised to showcase the Eastern Highlands’ unique offerings.
The buzzword in Zimbabwe has been of luring investment into the country with President Emmerson Mnangagwa having gone on a number of trips outside the country, notably, the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland with the message that Zimbabwe is open for business.
Manicaland Province has decided to ride on the wave of seeking fresh capital with an investment conference slated for the 3rd of March in order to put its unique selling points on the investors’ radar.
“A magazine highlighting what Manicaland offers to the investor as well as a branding campaign are some of the ways we have decided to market the province,” Manicaland Minister of State, Cde Monica Mutsvangwa said.
Recently, a delegation led by Cde Mutsvangwa was in Mozambique’s Manica Province where the need to have synergies in various sectors of the two countries’ economies was further reiterated.
Agriculture, mining as well as forestry are some of the areas that with further funding can change the livelihoods of people in Manicaland province.
