In an interview, ZANU-PF Youth League Deputy Secretary for External Affairs Tongai Kasukuwere said the visit by a nine member ANC youth league delegation led by its firebrand President Julius Malema is a new phase of economic revolution that targets the participation of young people in national development.

The visit constitutes part of strengthening relations between the two liberation political parties.

Kasukuwere said the two youth league will exchange notes on land redistribution and how both countries can benefit from their mining resources, youth empowerment programmes and the issue of sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe.

The delegation is expected to hold meetings with the secretaries of youth, administration, commissariat and indigenisation and a youth rally will be held in their honour in Harare on Saturday.

The delegation is also expected to tour some farms and mines to have an appreciation of the struggle that the country has gone through in its quest to empower the majority.

The visit will further solidify the cordial relationship that exists between the ZANU-PF and ANC main wings.
