Malaysia says it is committed to work with Zimbabwe in areas of cultural exchange and tourism.

The Malaysian community in Zimbabwe says they are committed working with zimbabwe in promoting cultural exchange programmes through international shows such as harare international festival of the arts.

Speaking to ZBC News on the sidelines of the launch of their cultural dances in Harare, Malaysian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Amarjit Sarjit Singh said Zimbabwe needs to market its cultural programmes to boost its relations with other nations.

“We are happy to work with the new government which is preaching for peaceful, credible and free elections,” he said.

Malaysia is also preparing for its elections this year and is one of the Asian countries that support Zimbabwe in terms of trade.
