A Malawian fashion designer Thokozani Phiri has found a way in which people can market second hand clothing in a sustainable way that is eco-friendly.
Phiri said some countries have become dumping sites for second hand clothing which is now affecting existing retails and manufacturing in those countries.
As a result, she has come up with an idea that will not only revolutionarise the fashion industry but the economy of many countries.
She said it is important that there should be ways of sustaining fashion in a way that is eco-friendly.
Various fashion highlighted the improved ways of buying and selling eco-friendly clothing.
Bulawayo fashion artists were also urged and advised to network with different fashion designers from different countries so that they can share ideas and exchange knowledge.
