Reviewing officer Colonel Luckmore Mukurazhizha from the Colonel Careers implored the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) graduates to take discipline as a key component for a sound and excelling security force cadre at a pass out of General Squad Drill and Small Arms Course at Chitekedza Barracks in Mt Darwin.

95 students comprising 13 females and 82 male students successfully completed the course.

Colonel Mukurazhizha said the aim of the course was to equip the junior members of ZNA with competency in general squad drill aspects and small arms weaponry.

The course was designed to mould astute junior leaders capable of discharging their duties professionally.  

Earlier, the commanding officer of 2-1 Chitekedza Barracks Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Kachingwe echoed that it is a military norm that during peace time is ideal for personnel training as to sharpen their combating skills.

Local leadership and relatives of the graduates graced the occasion.
