The Makokotsha hitmaker Clement Ncube says he is confident he will scoop the song of the year award at the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards (BAA) that are set for the 26th of this month.

Having scooped the song of the year award at the Bulawayo Arts Awards last year, Ncube better known as Clement Magwaza said he is honoured for being nominated again this year for the song of the year award and is hopeful that he will take the award home.

Magwaza said it is through hard work and dedication that has made him win big awards against the best in the industry.

To date he has delivered eight albums over an 11 year period and currently is working on the 9th titled, “Ubokhala Uphethe”.

Magwaza describes his music as one that teaches people about issues they deal with on a daily basis.

It is through such awards that artists attain recognition and fame but most importantly create a competitive atmosphere that gives the drive to thrive and produce the best.
