The South African musical group Mafikizolo has arrived in the country this afternoon for their evening show to be held in the gold mine of Kadoma.

The gold mining town will be alive as some of the big names in the local music industry are going to share the stage with the South African musical outfit.

Speaking soon after their arrival, band member Theo Kgosinkwe said they are more than ready for the show.

One of the organisers of the show DJ Nosh said they have roped in songstress Diana “Mangwenya” Samkange and Tendai Dembo as a way of ensuring diversity in the line-up of entertainers.

Others include Leonard Zhakata, Oliver Mtukudzi and Jah Prayzah.

Mafikizolo is known for some of their popular hits such as Marabi, Ndihamba Nawe and Sibongile.

Their last project ‘Sendekera’ featured Zimbawean man of the moment Jah Prayzah.
