The Law Society of Zimbabwe  (LSZ) has brought together law enforcement agents, lawyers and experts for a seminar on identifying, investigating and preventing economic crime.

Participants at the two day workshop hailed it as a step in the right direction as the country remains affected by its perceived high corruption levels.

Corruption has eroded the moral fabric of Zimbabwe’s society and led to a loss of confidence in the systems.

While the new government has repeatedly indicated it is on a drive to deal with this scourge there has been concern that no meaningful prosecutions against perceived corruption kingpins have seen the light of day.
