A local group responsible for marketing Brand Zimbabwe under the banner Lovely Zimbabwe met the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry Cde Prisca Mupfumira to brief her on their song titled ‘Lovely Zimbabwe’.

The song Lovely Zimbabwe was performed in eight official languages.

The team said it hopes to shoot the video of the song since pictures can be used to tell a good story about Zimbabwe.

Speaking during an event attended by the Malaysian Ambassador to Zimbabwe Mr Amarjit Singh and representatives from embassies who are assisting in the initiative, Minister Mupfumira hailed the initiative and urged the team to work hand in glove with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority.

Lovely Zimbabwe band manager Blessing Madura said they hope to release a world class video which will tell the Zimbabwean story from all the four corners of the country.

Lovely Zimbabwe is a project that is recognised and receiving support from the embassies of Malaysia, India, Indonesia, China, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Palestine.
