comesa_logo.gifLocal companies have been invited to participate at the 7th COMESA Business Forum which is scheduled to take place from the 10th to the 15th of next month alongside the 15th COMESA Heads of State and Government Summit to be held in Lilongwe, Malawi.
The COMESA Business Forum will focus on fostering investment and trade opportunities in the region and will also bring together COMESA’s trading partners which include India, China, the European Union, the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America.

COMESA Secretary General, Mr. Sindiso Ngwenya, said the partnership of the private sector with the trade bloc has a valuable contribution to the regional- economic integration agenda.

The COMESA business council is regarded as a unique private sector platform that represents the interests of the business community at the regional summit level and issues raised at council forums also feed into the agenda of the Annual Heads of State and Government Summit.
