Liverpool manager, Roy Hodgson has left the club by mutual consent.
Hodgson, 63, who joined Liverpool from Fulham in July last yea, had won only 7 out of 20 Premier League games since he took over from Rafael Benitez.
Hodgsonâ€™s last match in charge was the 3-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers in a match former Zimbabwe Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari scored a brace.
Former player and manager, Kenny Dalglish has been placed in charge until the end of the season.
Dalglish will begin his new job with a trip to Old Trafford in tomorrowâ€™s crucial FA Cup clash with eternal rivals, Manchester United.
The 59-year-old won six league titles with Liverpool as a player and guiding the club to three more as manager in a 6-year spell between 1985 and 1991.
