1510: He promises the President a landslide victory in Mashonaland Central saying the province is well known as a rich agriculture area as well as being a strong support base for Zanu PF. 

1509: The Zanu PF Deputy National Political Commissar Cde Omega Hungwe is now on the podium and she invites Cde Perence Shiri who is the Minister of Lands, Agriculture and Rural Resettlement to give a vote of thanks. 

1508: The President has finished his address.

1506: He chants the iconic party slogans …”Pamberi neZanu PF! Pamberi nekubatana! Pamberi nehwinha maelection! Mashonaland Central, tsime reZanu PF, musvo we Zanu PF zvichemo zvenyu ndomutoro watinotakura,” as he concludes his address.

1505: President Mnangagwa says victory is certain and come July 30, they are going to reap what they sowed. 

“Hatidi kuti imi vechidiki muite zvamakamboita paye panguva yaKasukuwere kuti mapiwa mari makaita kwakaenda tsuro ndiko kwakaenda imbwa, you will be supported by the government and you must learn to pay back the money you borrowed,” ED.  

1500: The President says the government has opened an Empowerbank for youths for them to uplift their lives hence they should have a culture of paying back.

1457: He says cancer screening shall be free and those above 65 will be treated free.

1455: The President says there’s need for a culture of honesty and hardworking adding corruption cripples the economy. “Pasi nehuwori, huwori hwunowisira budiriro yenyika pasi,” ED. 

1453: “We need investment for development. All those countries who have developed did that through investment,” ED. 

1452: He says as a country we must exploit those minerals and develop Zimbabwe so that by 2030 the country will be a middle income economy. 

“On the 15th of this month we are going to have a ground breaking ceremony of Karo Resources in Mashonaland West and 15 000 jobs are going to be created,” ED.

1447: On mining, President Mnangagwa says Mashonaland Central is very rich in minerals. He says the opening of Eureka Gold Mine in Guruve will create 2000 to 3000 jobs. 

1443: Still on agriculture, the President says the government will continue supporting farmers in tobacco, cotton farming. He says the government will continue providing free inputs for the farmers to curb hunger and starvation.

1438: “Through the command agriculture programme, Zimbabwe will never be food insufficient again,” ED.

1434: He says the government shall engage and re-engage for the development of the country. “The time is now for those who haven’t engaged with us. we say zimbabwe is open for business, we want mutual cooperation. We can do better when we are one,” ED.

1432: He says some people are saying the new dispensation will return farms to the colonial settlers but instead, the President has assured the people of Zimbabwe that that will never happen because we are a united people with their land.

“Independent candidates automatically expelled themselves from the party and should not campaign using the Zanu PF name or regalia as that is in violation of ZEC regulations,” ED.

1430: “When we are united, with or without sanctions we can build the Zimbabwe we want,” ED.

1429: The President says government will continue looking after chiefs despite criticism from opposition political parties and will avail vehicles to remaining traditional leaders during the first weeks of next month.

1425: He says the government wants to make sure it creates a competitive environment for businesses to thrive in the country adding that there’s stability, unity and peace in Zimbabwe which will make sure that capital comes because capital comes where it is comfortable.

1423: The President says the government has put in place financial windows for the youths to nurture and develop their skills for the development of the country.

“When investors come we should treat them well because the aim of a businessman is to make profit, however, we need their skills and technology which our people will learn and develop our country,” ED.

1421: The President says when he introduced the ‘Zimbabwe is open business’ mantra in Davos Switzerland, the country has been overwhelmed by the interest shown by investors. 

“Our main thrust is development. We have a duty as leaders to create an environment for the betterment of the future generations. The youths should say our elders built a strong foundation for us,” ED.

1420: He says the government is committed to unite the people of Zimbabwe in peace and in harmony.

1417: The President reiterates that there’s no place without its owners or leaders.  

1413: He says the liberation struggle begun here in Mashonaland Central hence there should be no party which should have a breathing space in this province. “Kuno kunofanira kungosara uri musvo weZanu PF,” ED.

1412: “Party ndivo mai vehurumende, kuhurumende tinoshanda tichiita zvido zvevanhu,” ED.

1410: President Mnangagwa says Zanu PF is bigger than everyone but no one is bigger than the party. “No one can put Zanu PF party into their pocket but Zanu PF is a like a pocket, it can fit everyone. No matter how popular you become you’ll never own Zanu-PF,” ED.

1409: He says the new dispensation has opened up democracy, “Takapa masimba kuvanhu, masimba anobva kuvanhu, anenge ashora masimba evanhu anobviswa,” ED. 

1402: President Mnangagwa starts by chanting the iconic slogan… “Pamberi neZanu PF, pamberi nekubatana, pamberi nekuhwinha maelection, pamberi nemusangano….pasi nemhanduuuuuu”  

1353: Cde Chiwenga calls the party’s representatives in the July 30 polls and those that lost in the primaries to the main stage to meet President Mnangagwa as he invites him to give his keynote address. 

1339: The Vice President says when President Mnangagwa was incarcerated he was tortured that even his one ear was affected up to now.
