1535: “Here in the Midlands, we have an abundance of minerals and we know that artisanal miners are in need of support from government and that we will do so as to make their work more efficient,” he says.

1533: President Mnangagwa says there’s need to modernise agriculture. “Government through the Lands, Agriculture and Rural Resettlement Ministry will put in place programmes to provide tractors among other things to farmers which are payable over a certain period of time.
1529: On agriculture, he says he toured Cottco Gokwe and saw tonnes of cotton, something which shows that the area is rich in the production of the white gold. He says government will review upwards the price of cotton adding that government will continue supporting farmers and will awarde them for their produce.
1528: He reiterated that universities should produce highly skilled students who will help grow the economy.
