Speaking in Harare at celebrations to mark achievements in tourism, Traverze Managing Director, Ms Zodwa Mkandla said the industry has not been spared by liquidity and cash challenges facing the local market.

Travel and tourism executive, Mr Godfrey Pasipanodya and a legal practitioner, Mr Arthur Marara concurred on the need for the industry to adopt aggressive marketing strategies in order to remain viable.

The increase in airlines landing at the Harare International Airport plays an important role in promoting connectivity, and boosting tourist arrivals yet it calls for dynamic packages for travellers.
