Vhulindlela villagers in Hwange West are seeking support from both the government and private sector for the completion of the outstanding works in the construction of Lionora Clinic.

The Vhulindlela villagers said the construction works had to be halted as the major donor suspended funding, leaving the community with the burden of overseeing the completion of the project.

Vhulindlela Secondary School development committee chairperson, Mr Rodger Ncube said the clinic and the construction of additional classroom blocks remain urgent issues requiring attention for the community.

According to the community apart from the completion of outstanding construction works, there is need for the establishment of a labour ward and cottages for the nurses.

With one house for the five teachers, the community has also appealed for support in the construction of descent accommodation for the teachers at Vhulindlela Secondary School.
