The Zanu PF party provincial leadership for Masvingo Province says focus is now on development now that elections are over.
These sentiments were expressed by the party’s provincial chairman Cde Ezra Chadzamira during a provincial coordinating committee (PCC) meeting held this weekend.
The party’s provincial leadership held its first meeting since the end of elections with calls for all members to bury their differences that may have occurred during elections.
Cde Chadzamira who is now the Provincial Minister of State for Masvingo stressed that no time will be wasted on trivial issues as focus is now on ensuring that the economy thrives.
“Elections are now behind us let us be united and bury our differences. We must now work together for the development of our province. Let us accept what is there the leadership which is there and move forward,” he said.
Cde Chadzamira urged all those who have ideas on how to transform the province and ensure that the ordinary citizens benefit, to approach his office saying he is open to dialogue.
“Because I am the Minister of State doesn’t mean I have changed. What I was and how we related remains the same. Let’s come and dialogue and work for the betterment of Masvingo,” he added.
Meanwhile, the province will tomorrow hold celebrations to mark the appointment of Cde Chadzamira as Minister of State.
